Nailers Welcome Bob Munn & Matthew Osborne to Organization

Wheeling Bolsters Sales Staff with Two New Additions

WHEELING, WV- The Wheeling Nailers, proud ECHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins, are pleased to announce that they have added two new members to the organization. Bob Munn has joined the team as the new General Sales Manager, and Matthew Osborne has been brought in to the Corporate Ticket Sales Department.

Munn comes to the Nailers from a career in publishing, both locally as well as in Charlotte, North Carolina. He most recently served as the Training and Recruiting Coordinator for an international community publishing association and has been personally certified and licensed by Jeffery Gitomer as a Gitomer Certified Sales Coach®. The son of a serial entrepreneur, he served as General Manager of the family’s Green Tab Publishing Company before moving on to the founding leadership team of a multi-million dollar direct mail startup in Charlotte. Bob’s earliest memories were watching his father promote NASCAR sanctioned stock car races at the Moundsville Fair Grounds as well as operating the Grand and Strand Theaters through the mid-sixties. His new mission is to Create: Value for our sponsors; Memories for our guests; and Growth for the Wheeling Nailers Hockey Club. Bob and his wife Billie make their home in Wheeling, just a few blocks from daughter Dr. Ashley Torlone and grandson Jacob.

Osborne graduated from Bethany College in 1995 with a degree in History, then spent a decade in California working extensively in Sales, Marketing, and Management for a variety of small businesses and technology companies. Matthew moved to the Ohio Valley in 2005 in search of a better quality of life and to start a family; initially worked in the Northern Panhandle for 11 years as the Vice President of BB&T. Most recently he was working for Forever Media of Ohio. Osborne has joined the Nailers to be a part of a team with the goal of providing the highest quality of sports and entertainment; he believes that a thriving Nailers team provides a unique quality to the Ohio Valley as well as support to the community in many ways. He is enthusiastic about working closely with local businesses to fill the arena on game day. Matthew and his wife Melody reside in Wheeling with their two daughters.
