Nailers Care

The Wheeling Nailers have been a major piece of the Ohio Valley for over 30 years. While 36 home games each season creates lasting memories, the Nailers also take pride in the work they do away from the rink, throughout the Ohio Valley. 

Player & Coach Appearances

Each season, Nailers players and coaches spend between 150-200 hours in the community. The players love connecting with children, making schools and youth programs major participators in Nailers Care. They also enjoy helping causes by raising awareness and money.

WesBanco Community Ticket Program 

The Wheeling Nailers and WesBanco have teamed to enhance ongoing community efforts WesBanco Community Ticket Program. 

Thanks to the generosity of WesBanco, tickets are available for every game for donation to local organizations and nonprofits. If you know of an organization that you would like to be considered for the WesBanco Community Ticket Program, please fill out the form below. Tickets are distributed on a first come, first serve basis.

Festivals & Tabling Events

Our staff loves being part of other community events. Sometimes, we participate in the event, other times, we can set up a table, and our booster club will even come along with their very own homemade Puck Plinko Game, when everyone who plays is a winner.

Annual Teddy Bear Toss

On December 3, 2022 we held our annual Teddy Bear Toss at our Holiday Palooza game. We collected 1,150 stuffed animals and donated all of them to the Salvation Army to be given to local children throughout the community.
